Rules
1. Each match will be over six frames with one point awarded per frame. All points will be added up at the end of each match and the team scoring the most points will be awarded ONE BONUS point for the aggregate.

2. Players names shall be written down on the allocated scorecard with names in alternation and all frames shall be "toss for break." All scorecards have the table numbers indicated.

3. Players who are representing more than one league cannot play for two teams in the same match and MUST notify the Tournament Director prior to the match starting of his chosen side and then sign the match card.

4. The team that finishes top of each group on points will progress to semi finals as will the best second placed team from the three groups. Deciding factors will be used if points are tied such as Head to Head to decide group winners. Semi Finals and Final will be played on Sunday 18th May.

5. All breaks over 40 to be recorded.

6. The foul and miss rule shall be in force to a level that is firm but also fair based on a) difficulty of the shot and b) the pace of the shot. Example:- If a player is full ball snookered and fails to hit the object ball off one cushion, then a miss is to be called. The level of players is of a standard that should be respectful towards the miss rule but if there are any issues or doubts, please ask your captain to call the TD or his assistants over and the decision shall be final.

7. Dress code for all Merseyside Association competitions will always be of smart appearance, no jeans, no football shirts, no trainers etc., shirt/polo shirt, trousers etc is the order of the day.

8. All matches have been allocated table numbers so please do not start a match on a free table unless agreed by the TD.

9. All players/teams are asked to respect the new format of the competition and respect opposition teams and also respect the club with good behaviour and no banging of tables and cues etc shall be tolerated by the club. The TD will call the captain of a team to one side should there be an issue or complaint against them.

10. Entry fee of £15 per team to be payed to TD at 10.45am before start of play.
