League

Basic rules

Matches to be played on a tuesday as per fixure list

Matches will commence at 8pm on the designated dates,if no arrival by 8.30pm the first frame will be forfeited, no arrival by 9pm will result in forfeiture of all frames

Players will receive a handicap before playing in the league +21/-49 the MAX start given is 60

Both captains to notify match results to record sec by tex mess or phone call

The format of matches will be as follows

Each team can sign as many players as they wish

Each team will consist of three nominated players

Both captains will write down order of his team 1.2.3 blind

Each player will play twice,afterbthe first three matches they will play the same apponent again

1 point is awarded for each frame won

Black ball to decide a tie

Home team to break off

Each team will then alternate break off

Aggregate score does not apply and frames can be conceded at any stage,however correct etiquette is not when yourbapponent is in play

The penalty for an absent player is his frame

Teams will alternate refereeing and marking dutys

Any team wishing to rearrange any match must notify there opponents at least 72hrs beforehand and play the fixture within fourteen days of the original date failure to play the game may result in a points deduction of one or both teams,
No league matches to be played after the final league match the record secretary to be notified of all rearranged matches
Handicaps will be revised at halfway stage of the season,new players after 4 matches played,new registrations can be amended anytime,the onus shall be on each individual player to play off his correct handicap.

League meetings to be held monthly at homeguard 1st wed in every month!

A BEST OF 3 MATCH FORMAT,WITH TOTAL POINTS ACCUMULATED AND TOTALED ON TO A LEAGUE PLACING, AFTER ALL MATCHES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED THE TOP 4 PLACINGS AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFY FOR THE PREMIER K/O,PLACINGS 5 TO 12 PLAY OFF IN A SEEDED K/ O WITH THE WINNERS QUALIIFYING FOR THE PREMIER K/O,LOOSERS WILL JOIN PLACINGS 13 TO 22 TO FORM A SECONDARY K/O WITH THE INCLUSION OF 2 FROM THE BOTTOM 4 WHO IN TURN WILL HAVE A SEEDED K/O,PREMIER K/O = 8 PLAYERS SECONDARY K/O = 16 PLAYERS
(MISS RULE) THE MISS RULE WILL ONLY BE PLAYED UPON THE AGREEMENT OF BOTH PLAYERS AT THE START OF THE MATCH,
EXCEPTION OF THIS RULE,IF YOU CAN SEE IT BUT MISS IT A MISS CAN BE CALLED AND THE BALL/BALLS REPLACED
