Hi everyone,

Can`t wait for this years event and looking forward to seeing you all again this year. Last years event was superb with (as previously mentioned) a great atmosphere with that 80`s pro-am buzz you used to get. I have arranged a few additional facilities for this year to address the feedback we had, I will be their to coordinate full time with Richard (I`ve got a pass) also have arranged for a seperate projector for the competition this of course means that we wont be hogging the screen if theres a match on. I also intend taking another big photo and team photos which I missed in the rush last year.

If anyone needs any local info hotel recommendations etc. post it to me on here and i`ll reply.

Hi everyone. The Leamington & District league will be entering a team again. Was a great weekend last year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope to see you all there again.

Colin James (West Midlands League). Hi All, West Midlands will be there to defend the title. Got to agree with Rob, last year was great and the quality snooker reminded me of the pro-ams in the 80s. Lets look forward to an increase in entries this time. For those who missed out last year, its a great weekend.

Can teams please email me their players names who will be playing in the competition. Also please note during the competition, can match scores be recorded fully on the scorecards, for example A. Smith 67 - 34 T. Jones.

Good luck this weekend everyone. Sorry the Leamington League are unable to send a team this year. One thing or another has led to us being unable to get a team together. I myself am in Telford for the opening of the UKs. I will keep an eye on proceedings and hope to see you all next year.

I would like to congratulate Ormskirk on their victory and also the West Midlands for a great performance. The weekend was a success despite the two teams not bothering to turn up on Sunday. I especially enjoyed watching the semis and final, the standard of snooker was high. Pictures of the tournament will follow soon. I am also proud to announce next years tournament will be held at the South West Snooker Academy, Gloucester.

Congratulations to Ormskirk. Still sorry we couldn't make it this year, but are already planning on getting a team for next year. Should be a great tournament once again, at a world class venue

Hi Guys, On behalf of West Midlands League, I would like to congratulate winners, Ormskirk. They are a very strong team, well equiped to play hard match snooker. The final turned out to be one of the best I have seen in terms of ability and mental toughness. I was proud of our team who played with skill and conducted themselves impecably. An event is oinly as good as its organisation and I congratulate Richard and Rob for there efforts. Thanks also to the Referee. We intend to support the event in 2011 wherever the venue. Finally seasons greetings to you all.
