on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 The Snooker Legends Pro-Am 2014 – 26th & 27th July To be hosted at The Crucible Sports & Social Club, Furlong House, Hambridge Road, Newbury, Berkshire. RG14 5UT (Tel No. 01635 226920) www.cruciblesports.co.uk 64 Amateur players will compete against 16 professional players in the very first Snooker Legends Pro-Am Event. Entry Fee for Amateur players is £50 (includes free entry to the Plate Competition). Saturday 26th July 64 amateur players will play through 2 rounds to get to the last 16. All matches are best of 5 frames. The 16 players who qualify will then compete against the 16 professional players on the Sunday. All losing players will automatically be entered into the Plate Competition which will also take place on Sunday. Players losing in the last 64 round will receive £20 of their entry fee back. Sunday 27th July The 16 Professional players will be paired against the 16 Amateur players and will compete in a straight knockout competition. Professional players will give a 21 point start to the amateur players. All matches will be best of 7 frames in the main competition. A One frame Shoot Out plate competition will also be contested on Sunday.
