Some sad news that Alan Fenna who played in the league for many years has died, funeral details Monday 24th September 2018 at 1.30pm at Landican South Chapel and afterwards at the RNA club by Guinea Gap baths.

The next Committee Meeting is Friday 5th October 7.30pm. When Wallasey Competitions, Individual and Pairs entry forms need to be returned together with fees at this meeting, as the competitions will be draw on the night no fees no entry. Lance 07828 900224 has issued the forms and they should be on your club notice board.
A club name change this season Withens Lane ( Sports & Social Club ) is the new name for the Wallasey Royal British Legion club.

Just to clarify the league rules, now it is just one division, it hasn't really changed, players can only play for the team they are registered for. Not for any team in their club. Previously with two divisions a player could play for another team in another division provided the team had the same name. For example a player registered for Manor Rd Cons in Div 2 could play for Manor Rd Cons in Div 1 but not for Liscard Cons although they're from the same Club, players also couldn't play twice in two different divisions in the same week.

The Handicaps have now been completed after an exhausting meeting, there are two more re-handicap dates, 29th Oct and 17th Dec, it will take a couple of re-handicapping meetings to get them as accurate as possible with the merging of the two divisions. Season starts on Tuesday and Thursday 4th & 6th Sept. Hopefully have an enjoyable season of snooker.

Correction in the fixture book for Week 4, Tuesday 25th September 2018. Should be Great Float v Sacred Heart and reversed on Week 19, 22nd January 2019. The website dates are correct.

The First Handicap meeting will take place on Friday 31st August 2018 @ 7pm, with the Committee meeting following at 8pm. Fixture books and result cards will be given out on the night. Each team is welcome to send a representative to the handicap meeting to have their say and possible vote.

Any late registrations please email or text me ASAP but BEFORE the meeting so I can print an up to date player list for each team on the night. Thanks

PLEASE NOTE THE FIXTURES WERE CHANGED TODAY 23RD JULY as Central Cons have now dropped out of the league, so to avoid having 2 byes the fixtures were redone, this will help reduce any consecutive matches as well.

The new seasons fixtures for 2018-19 are now on the website, with only ONE Division teams will play each other just once home and away. Some teams may have a number of consecutive home or away matches, unfortunately this is unavoidable by trying to fit in fixtures for Sacred Heart and also keeping the matches on Tuesday's.
