GARSTON LEAGUE 2023/24

The CHANGES we have made this year are as follows;

ALL LEAGUE MATCHES start at 7.15PM

ANY TEAM who haven't attended by 7.30pm will lose 1 frame from 7.30pm, 2frames from 7.45pm, and the loss of the match if not started by 8pm.

In the event that any team needs to CANCEL/RE ARRANGE, they MUST inform MYSELF and the respective TEAM 48 HOURS PRIOR TO ANY MATCH and if cancelled after this then the points will automatically be awarded to the opposing team 6-0

The 2POINT aggregate score for each league win has been reduced to 1POINT (therefore there can be draws 3-3 this year).

AUTOMATIC HANDICAP REVIEW (15th November 2023)

The handicap update is for all league and team cup matches from now on until each team has played each other twice. (2nd automatic review)Feb 2024

The draws for each competition already on website will be each players handicap until the 2nd round of each competition (1st January 2024 onwards)

Here is a breakdown of each adjustment made until the 2nd review:

Gateacre:
Sean Roberts (+4) from 30 to 25.

Woolton Village:
John Morris (+6) from 20 to 10. Gary Gilbert (+5) from 15 to 10. Tony Cook (+3) from 0 to -5. Carl Shore (+3) from 20 to 15. Danny Kwan (-6) from 10 to 20.

Sams A:
Dave Rogers (+4) from 0 to -5. Mark Adams (+4) from 55 to 50. Dennis Simcock (+3) from 5 to 0.

Sams B:
Finn Gallagher (+4) from 0 to -5. Sonny Connely (-3) from 15 to 20. Chase Kirwan (-6) from 0 to 10.

Netherley:
Frank Reilly (-5) from 30 to 35. Ryan Wilson (-5) from 30 to 35.

Mount Carmel A:
Brian Soundie (+6) from 50 to 40.

Mount Carmel B:
Andy Burke (+4) from 30 to 25. Eddie Tully (+3) from 0 to -5.

VMH B:
Billy Collett (+3) from 50 to 45.

VMH A:
L Davies (-5) from 50 to 65. L Daly (-6) from 50 to 65. S Newman (-4) from 50 to 65. Peter Keeley (-3) from 50 to 55.

MEETING 2ND NOVEMBER 2023:

The decision was made by the committee to have all team cups played based on the current handicap each person has currently. To clarify there is NO TEAM HANDICAP.
We decided to not have a maximum start throughout any of the cups as we do in the league.
For example; If Eddie Tully( -5) played Derek Thrush(65) in any league match the maximum start is 50. If the same match occurred in any cup game this start would be 70. To clarify there is NO MAXIMUM START

Also as you will all be able to see all cup competitions are now on each tab for everyone to see.

Danny Kwan (+3) from 20 to 15.

Sams A:
Tom McKintosh (-7) from 55 to 65.

Sams B:
Sonny Connolly (-5) from 20 to 25.
Chase Kirwan (+3) from 10 to 5.

Mount Carmel A:
Robbie Henry (+5) from 25 to 20.
Jimmy Danily (-3) from 35 to 40.

Mount Carmel B:
Billy Bromsgrove (+4) from 35 to 30.

VMH A:
NO CHANGE (PENDING GAME vs NETHERLEY)

VMH B:
Peter Gray (-3) from 50 to 55.

Netherley: (PENDING GAME VS VMH A)
John Brown (+4) from 35 to 30.
Ryan Wilson (+3) from 35 to 30.
Frank Reilly (-5) from 40 to 45.

For all upcoming team cup matches please remember there is NO MAXIMUM START in any frame.
