| Oswestry & District Billiards & Snooker League Presidents Bowl 2018 Sponsored By – Malcolm Lewis Developments LTD Format • A match consists of 5 frames of snooker played to Oswestry Snooker League Rules • Teams are allocated their own points handicap which gets added to the teams overall score at the end of the match • Matches are to start at 7.30pm Match Info • A match is won by the team with the highest points score after the team handicap and players frame scores have been added together • In the event of a drawn match after all scores have been added together the players who played the final frame are to play a re-spotted black to determine a match winner • Final positions in group stage are first based on number on team wins, then team score aggregate NOT total points scored. Eligibility • To play for a team in the Presidents Bowl you must be signed on by that team and played at least once in the current league season (this can be checked by viewing the league snooker website) • Playing unsigned players or players who have not played during the season is not allowed and will result in that frame being lost 147-0 Rules • A & B League teams are able to play a match with 4 players with the 5th player being chosen from their original 4 by the opposing team captain (This is the same rule that currently exists in the League) this is done without penalty • If an A or B League team were only to have 3 players they forfeit the match and are excluded from the competition |
