Handicapped Team KO. After the half way stage of league matches (teams played 11 games), teams positioned 7 to 12 from Division 1 are entered into Division 3 and teams positioned 7 to 12 in Division 2 are entered into Division 4. Match results from week 12 to 22 are then entered into the league tables as normal, and the top two teams from Division 3 and 4 will play off against each other in a handicapped 6 frame knockout at KENNYS for the Pountney Cup (similar format as summer league where a team captain can play as little as 3 players or as many as 6 players). Aimed at giving the lower teams in both divisions something to play for after the half way stage of the season.
